Delgani presents a winter program of dark textures and radiant light. Tomáš Svoboda’s 12th Quartet, composed in Portland and recorded by Delgani, opens the program alongside Shostakovich’s coiled and kinetic 7th Quartet. The program concludes with the warm sonorities of Brahms’s String Sextet No. 1, featuring violist Charles Noble and cellist Pansy Chang of the Oregon Symphony.
